| Meaning of Success

 This poem was shared by my Strategy Professor Adel Dimian during the last strategy class I had last week. His rationale for showing us this was to put success into perspective. After all that has been said and done in university that aims to be a part of our strategy of success in life, we have to find out what success truly means to us. Maybe it isn't all about the grades, nor is it all about the money... maybe it's about a higher value we hold true in our hearts. Bessie Stanley really used this poem to help me see the bigger picture in life.
What is success to you? If you are unsure, hope this poem will help shed some light or provide some perspective into the concept of success. :)
Have a good weekend!

That IS a nice poem. I consider success as being content with yourself and your life. How many of us can really say we are happy with the way things are?

@Heart of Rachel: You're most welcome. :) Hope it made your day.
@Jillian: Thanks for the compliment. Personally I think it's VERY rare that people can say that they are truly happy with the way things are in their life right now. It's human nature to always want more and more. *sigh

I enjoyed the poem, too. I feel happy and successful if I can make somebody smile. That makes me feel warm inside. Oh, and I also like biting things.

ah..I was thinking of winning affection of our cat as a success for me. It's not a joke but this cat is so hard to warm up to strangers. Now he loves me! :)

@Daisy: did you leave out cackling at birds? lol.
@sher.: That's a good one and I'd never think you'd joke about that! :)
@lina: you are welcome! it's not a strategy per se, just wanna make sure every one gets a card :)
